Giron beach is a locality of the municipality Ciénaga of Zapata, province Matanzas and is one of the most visited places in the country for its historical events as well as its Magnificent turquoise beach and white sands. It is located at the eastern end of the Bay of Pigs, in the south center of Zapata Swamp. To the north it borders the dense forests of Cayo Ramona, on the east by the Guasasa forests, on the west by the east coast of the Bay of Pigs and on the south, with the Caribbean Sea.
