Castle of the Three Kings of the Hill. Designed in the last decades of the 16th century by the engineer Bautista Antonelli, with a view to the protection of the Villa de San Cristobal de La Habana. Next to the lighthouse that accompanies it, it is symbol of that city and of Cuba.

From the heights of the Castle, placed at a risk of the entrance of the port, the primitive village could be visualized, for that reason it became the main point of contact with the other defenses. This condition made that the fortress constituted the primordial custodia of the city until the construction of the Cabaña, in the last third of century XVIII.
