However the reopening will surely be accompanied by precautionary measures to reduce the risk of exposure to the Coronaviruses. For example the mandatory use of a mask in public places, social distance among others could be one of the measures for the reopening.

What’s the Situation in Cuba Now

The current situation regarding COVID-19 is very stable. The authorities ordered a strict 15-day lockdown of Havana on last Tuesday trying to end the low-level but persistent spread of the new coronavirus in the capital. But also although there are some sources of spread throughout the country, the COVID-19 situation is not classified as risk.

The reopening is projected on this month September 2020 and some  hotels open and available for tourism, especially in the keys.

The countries and areas with a high risk of infection are set down in the Covid-19 Ordinance on International Passenger Transport Measures. This list is regularly updated.

The mandatory quarantine requirement is governed by the list valid at the moment of entry into Switzerland.
